New London Community Meal Center
The New London Community Meal Center serves lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and dinner from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. On weekends, they serve dinner on Sundays and lunch on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of the month.
The Yellow Farmhouse Education Center volunteers to prepare and serve dinner on the 5th Sunday of each month. Our next volunteer day is November 30. If you would like to join our volunteer crew, please email info@yellowfarmhouse.org. Click here to donate to the NLCMC.
Jonnycake Center of Westerly
The Jonnycake Center of Westerly offers food, clothing, household goods, and emergency financial assistance to clients who require help with basic needs.
Food Donations are accepted without an appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Fresh produce and non-perishables are especially sought. Look for the big blue barrels outside the Food Pantry. Click here to donate to the Jonnycake Center of Westerly.
Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center
For individuals and families of all ages, the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center assists residents experiencing financial hardship with basic needs, including food, household supplies, housing, and utility assistance, as well as guidance on government programs such as SNAP.
The PNC food pantry is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. They welcome donations of shelf-stable canned meats (like Spam, chicken, and corned beef hash), soups, Chef Boyardee, canned fruit, and dry cereal. Donations can be dropped off during pantry hours.
