Food for Good

Food as a vehicle for charity is one of humanity's oldest and most universal practices, spanning thousands of years across nearly every civilization and religion. From monasteries to soup kitchens to food banks, the evolution of "Food for Good" has accelerated in the age of modern restaurateuring, driven by passionate chefs, caring workers, digital platforms and supportive customers.

Platforms such as GroupRaise and Force4Good, restaurant-side management tools like DonationScout and RaiseRight, and mission-specific ones like GivingKitchen and MoveForHunger are enabling the restaurant Food as Fundraiser movement. Even chains such as Chipotle, Pizza Hut and Applebee's have built their own self-serve digital fundraising portals.
